Loss of GrammyThis is a piece that is in direct connection to the death of my great grandmother "Grammy". To find out more about my great connection with her, check out www.mysticalstar.net I have myself in this picture, with my style at the time, but yet made to look young as the age I was when I had lived with her. I felt like a helpless child as I watched her die. Knowing she was going to die, knowing that she was elderly. knowing that her body has been building to this point, but yet not wanting to say good bye, not wanting to let go and trying to tell her it's ok. The look on Grammy's face resembles the depiction I have expressed. The look of fear on her face through every second of her heart slowing down, will never leave my memories. I held on to her while she past away.
